Cauliflower is one of the core products for Ariki Seed, we especially enjoy the challenge its very long cycle product (winter harvest, winter over type) provides, but also the tropical types which can be grown successfully in New Zealand's climate.

This is one of our longest standing products, which we have been successfully growing since 1997. Ariki Seed conducts regular research into other areas around the world where cauliflower is grown in order to effectively manage this species.

New Zealand's mild climate also offers scope for open pollinated temperate material.

The native population of finches can wreak havoc on small scale Brassica seed crops. To prevent this possibility, we cage all our crops; protecting them from birds, and limiting resulting seed loss to less than 1%.
